As the weekend approached it looked like the weather had conspired against the Mission's annual residential conference. High winds and heavy rains caused some problems at the property at North Cotes. However, by the time Friday came the weather had calmed down and apart from a few showers the events of the weekend went on unhindered by the elements.
There was a full programme from Friday evening till lunch time on Sunday with missionary reports from around the world (Mexico/PNG/Thailand/Philippines/Guinea), challenging messages and inspirational singing. The meals and snacks were great too!
As well as visitors from the UK and Ireland there were groups from Holland, Germany and Italy. There was even a Scouser there with his family and dog. You know who you are!
I enjoyed the weekend so much, talking to so many people and hearing what God is doing in their lives. It certainly was a weekend not to be missed. June 20-22 are the dates for next years conference. Watch the NTM website for details.
Part of the 400+ lined up for the BBQ on Saturday.

I see that Frank was flipping burgers at the conference. Jeanette just sent a newsletter telling about the conference, too. I wish we could have been there. Thank you for the update and the neat pics.
I wish we could tag along to the Philippines when Norman goes, too! We'll be praying that God uses that time in a mighty way.

BTW, I like your blogger verse for the day. I just added it to my blog at http://where-we-live.blogspot.com/
